Unless buying a modern or fully renovated property, new owners often want some form of updating. Some may need substantial renovation or extension.

AntequeraProperties can provide translation assistance if you wish to go it alone, and liaise with local builders. This is to be recommended if you do not speak fluent Spanish, as misunderstandings are all too common.

Alternatively, we are linked with local building companies whom we know and respect for their building quality and cost effectiveness. We offer Spanish owned and English owned companies in this respect.

We also offer building planning and design if you would like help in planning your new home, ranging from construction design to interior design. This service includes designing and preparing building plans and obtaining the necessary building licence from the town council (ayuntamiento), to interior planning, selection and fitting of bathrooms, kitchen, curtains etc.

These services are available whether you are living in Spain, or based in the UK or another country. If you are not in Spain, we will send you progress updates with photographs.
